Welcome to the Admirals Hockey Club 2020-2021 Fall Registration.
In light of the Governor’s recent announcement regarding youth sports and hockey in particular, the Admirals board wanted to take a moment to fill you in on how the Admirals plan to proceed. First and foremost, tryouts and evaluations will proceed as scheduled as AHAI has stated that it will certify rosters. Teams will be formed and practices will start the following week. It is therefore critical that you register your child for both the conditioning camps and tryouts as soon as possible. There are 2 separate registrations for each, this registration is strictly for tryouts.
Given the uncertainty regarding league games, the board of directors and myself are diligently working on creating a platform that allows our kids to safely return to the ice while keeping the future in focus. The goal is to give all of us flexibility financially as well as creating a platform that keeps our players engaged and improving until we get the green light to play again. The cost structure will reflect the fact that the league season is in delay and your concerns for possible refunds.
While we are still working on details to implement this plan, we wanted to provide you all with some of the details as they relate to the upcoming season. This is all unchartered territory for all of us and we appreciate your patience as we all adapt the guidance given to us by local authorities. We will continue to send updates as more information becomes available.
The Admirals Hockey Club prides itself on the development of our players. We focus on the development of players at all skill levels and ages, utilizing the principles of USA Hockey's ADM (American Development Model) and LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development). These principles serve as the foundation to help each player realize their maximum potential in the game of hockey. This approach requires a commitment to not just the training of our players, but to our coaches as well.
Our Executive Hockey Director, Alain Lemieux, along with our Level Head Coaches bring a high level of skill, passion, commitment and experience to their roles and have dedicated themselves to the development of excellence in both our players and our coaches. At the Admirals Hockey Club your children will receive the highest caliber training, correct practice to game ratios, and age-appropriate practice concepts and skills. They will develop, compete and have fun playing the greatest game in the world.
